The Opportunity:

Seeking a Paralegal / Legal Administrator position reporting to the General Manager of Legal & Governance in either the Brisbane or Melbourne office. Open to both part-time opportunities accommodating study commitments or full-time roles. Dedicated to providing effective administrative support to contribute to the success of the legal team and overall organisational governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review basic legal documents (eg confidentiality deeds, purchase orders).
  • Maintain legal files, databases, and contract records.
  • Manage correspondence, mail, and scheduling for the legal team.
  • Coordinate documentation execution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare meeting materials, take minutes, and support process improvements.
  • Assist with low-risk contract reviews and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Provide executive support to the General Manager (travel, calendar, expenses).
  • Maintain the Legal & Governance intranet site and support internal initiatives.

About You:

  • First or second year university student
  • Experience in administration or similar role preferred.
  • Legal research skills preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Sound communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise under pressure and remain adaptable.
  • Document and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
