About the role:

 

As the HSSE Systems & Reporting Manager, you will lead the charge in safeguarding our operations and empowering our teams, by strategically managing compliance with FSC, ISO 45001, and regulatory mandates, and by architecting a forward-thinking HSSE Integrated Management System (IMS) that drives project success.

Key responsibilities include:

 

 

  • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of DTI’s accredited HSE management systems, ensuring alignment with ISO 450001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and FSC accreditation requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with WHS legislation, environmental regulations, and industry-specific obligations, including updates to legislation and changes in risk exposure.
  • Provide technical guidance and continuous support to projects and the regional safety teams with respect to work health and safety matters.
  • Undertake data analysis to identify emerging trends, conduct of risk assessments, and proposal of risk control strategies.
  • Track, analyse, and report on HSSE performance metrics, lead and lag indicators, and non-conformances.

Qualifications and experience:

 

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Health, Safety or Environment essential
  • Drivers’ license (C class) essential
  • Return to work coordinator certificate
  • Rail Safety qualifications
  • Knowledge of applicable statutory provisions across multiple jurisdictions, FSC & ISO45001
  • 3 - 5 years’ construction industry experience
  • Experience conducting audits and preparation of corrective actions and reports
  • Preparation and delivery of various HSSE Awareness or Training Programs
