About the role:
We are seeking a HSSE Administrator to provide administrative support for the national occupational health & safety, environmental and injury management team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Travel & accommodation booking management as required
- Ensure administration, document control, filing system, records are effectively managed and organised
- Assist with data collection for EOM reporting purposes (inclusive of environmental data such as National Greenhouse Energy Reporting (NGER).
- Maintain records of lead safety indicators including HSE Observations, Workplace Inspections, D&A Testing Records and Toolbox Talks.
Preferred experience/qualifications:
- Current drivers’ license
- Construction Induction Card
- Experience with relevant computer packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
- Previous experience in the civil construction industry (desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
- Knowledge of the OH&S Acts and Regulations (desirable)
- Well-developed verbal and written communications skills to effectively liaise with internal teams as well as external stakeholders.
