Gamuda Engineering is a reputable Engineering and Construction contractor that specialises in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of Transport, Civil and Energy Infrastructure projects


As part of Gamuda’s commitment to expansion, Gamuda Engineering has established offices in Sydney and Brisbane to pursue and deliver a variety of construction projects. We are currently delivering the Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package and in joint venture partnerships delivering both the $1.35B Coffs Harbour Bypass and the $1bn M1 Motorway Extension Southern Package.


We are currently shortlisted for several major transport and energy infrastructure projects are pursuing other significant opportunities in these sectors across Australia.

 

The Role

With a focus on the burgeoning Queensland infrastructure sector you will be responsible for developing customer relationships across the state including into regional markets, cultivating project opportunities including EOIs and proposals, work closely with our Precontracts, Engineering and Commercial teams to develop winning tender responses in the transport and civil infrastructure sector. This will include:


•    Building and maintaining key customer relationships within Brisbane and Regional markets to support Gamuda’s continued expansion into Queensland.
•    Developing project prospect pipelines and business development plans.
•    Managing EOIs and proposals processes including internal approvals and collaboration with key internal partners including marketing, pre-contracts, engineering and commercial.
•    Building relationships with potential project partners including design consultancies, JV partners and major subcontractors.

 

Your skills & experience

You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Commerce or Marketing and significant experience working with successful construction and engineering companies in the Queensland market. Your specific skills and experience will include


•    Well established networks with the Queensland Infrastructure market including TMR and regional clients.
•    Demonstrated history of developing successful business development strategies and plans.
•    Understanding of value propositions and formulating winning strategies and deals.
•    An ability to work effectively between technical, commercial and marketing and precontracts teams internally.
