About the role

DT Infrastructure, as part of the TasVic Greenlink joint venture with Samsung C&T Corporation Australia, has been awarded the contract to deliver the Balance of Works package for Marinus Link Stage 1.

We are seeking a Senior Social Impact Advisor to support the delivery of meaningful, measurable social outcomes on the TasVic Greenlink joint venture. This is a hands-on, project-embedded role focused on turning Social Impact commitments into action - working closely with operations, people, community and commercial teams to deliver against client and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include

  • Support the development and delivery of the Marinus Link Social Impact Strategy and project workplans.
  • Drive delivery of social procurement, employment participation and inclusion initiatives aligned to project KPIs.
  • Support improved employment outcomes for local communities, First Nations peoples, women, young people, CALD communities and people with disability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal Traditional Owners, Land Councils, Aboriginal organisations and local community partners.
  • Establish and manage partnerships with community organisations, social enterprises and government employment programs.
  • Provide specialist advice to project and people teams on First Nations engagement, community consultation and cultural matters, as required.
  • Work closely with Operations, Community & Stakeholder and Contract teams to ensure Social Impact commitments are embedded into project delivery.
  • Support Social Impact data collection, monitoring and reporting in line with client and internal requirements.
  • Develop clear case studies, content and communications that demonstrate tangible Social Impact outcomes.

Experience and capabilities

  • Experience delivering Social Impact, First Nations engagement, social procurement or workforce participation initiatives on large infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of community engagement, inclusion and employment pathways in a project environment.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders and operate effectively in complex, fast-paced settings.
  • Practical, outcomes-focused approach with strong coordination and delivery capability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
