The Role:
Senior Finance Manager / Finance Lead:
Responsible for leading the finance team and providing high level financial analysis, reporting and advice to support the Company in the achievement of its’ strategic and financial goals. The Senior Finance Manager / Finance Lead is responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for large-scale infrastructure projects across Gamuda and our subsidiaries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead financial analysis and creation of reports as requested by Finance leaders to support operation and national function across different business units and subsidiaries to help drive organisations efficiency.
- Oversee and provide input into the financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans, budget forecasting, contingency, and benefits management.
- Ensure compliance with recognised financial standards, regulatory and legal requirements and national finance policies in all areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for financial reporting and analysis with recommendations for action.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business unit, including month-end reporting, recharges and accounts payable activities are timely, accurate and within budget.
- Continuous improvement towards consistency and effectiveness of financial systems, processes, controls and data across multiple functional areas and locations.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree in Accounting.
- Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)/ Chartered Accountant (CA)
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a construction project finance role, with at least 5 years in a senior position within the construction or transport infrastructure sector.
- Strong experience in project finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a tier-one civil or building contractor environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
