About the role
DT Infrastructure, as part of the TasVic Greenlink joint venture with Samsung C&T Corporation Australia, has been awarded the contract to deliver the Balance of Works package for Marinus Link Stage 1
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join us on this once-in-a-generation project, acting as a key interface between the project and the private landholder community. Reporting to the Land Manager, the Senior Land Advisor will be responsible for identifying and understanding landholder concerns and effectively communicating these internally to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Land Advisors with daily tasks, deliverables, landholder engagement, records, and follow-ups.
- Maintain regular communication with the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager.
- Liaise with the Construction Manager (LCC) and Area Manager (LCC) on work fronts, workforce behaviour, and program updates.
- Work with the Interface Manager to ensure landholder requirements are documented and met through delivery and post-construction.
- Maintain daily contact with LCC Construction Supervisors across active work fronts.
- Engage with the Environment and Sustainability Manager on permits, vegetation management, and flora and fauna surveys.
- Support Senior Environment and Sustainability Advisors with scheduled works, environmental requirements, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience and capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Land Management, Communications, PR, Project Management).
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, land access, or community relations, ideally on infrastructure or regional projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, including conflict resolution and issue de-escalation.
- Understanding of construction activities, land access in rural settings, and associated impacts.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams, with solid data and document management skills.
