About the role
DT Infrastructure, as part of the TasVic Greenlink joint venture with Samsung C&T Corporation Australia, has been awarded the contract to deliver the Balance of Works package for Marinus Link Stage 1.
With a strong pipeline of work in renewable energy projects, we are seeking a high-calibre Communications and Stakeholder Coordinator in VIC to join us on this once-in-a-generation project. Working collaboratively with the project delivery team, you will support the development of communications and engagement strategies and coordinate the delivery of community relations activities. You will also provide vital information and assistance to the Social Licence and Stakeholder Relations Manager, advisors, stakeholders, and local residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build trusted relationships with project leadership, clients, delivery teams, and community members.
- Draft high-quality community notifications, newsletters, emails, and communications materials.
- Utilize graphic design and visual communication skills (including Adobe InDesign) to produce engaging project collateral.
- Conduct face-to-face community consultations and support stakeholder meetings and local events.
- Respond to community enquiries and complaints promptly, logging all data in Consultation Manager.
- Advise site teams on activity planning to minimize local community disruptions.
- Support the implementation, review, and updating of site-specific stakeholder involvement plans.
Experience and capabilities:
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience in stakeholder engagement and developing communication materials, preferably within large, multidisciplinary organizations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong ability to evaluate community issues quickly, think resourcefully, and adapt flexibly to rapidly changing project needs.
- Proficiency in graphic design and visual layout to produce project collateral.
