- Metro & Infrastructure Expertise: Lead the design coordination for specialized environments, including tunnel ventilation, station cooling, and fire safety systems for Metro/Rail projects.
- Technical Review: Review tender and delivery design documents, drawings, calculations (e.g., heat load, hydraulic pressure drops, smoke modeling), and reports produced by consultants for technical compliance, constructability, and cost efficiency.
- Value Engineering: Lead value engineering exercises to optimize equipment selection (chillers, pumps, fans), simplify installation methodologies, and identify alternative technical solutions that balance CAPEX/OPEX without compromising safety or performance.
- Interdisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate and interface with Architects, Electrical, Civil, and Structural teams to ensure BIM integration and resolve spatial clashes in complex plant rooms and service corridors.
- Lifecycle Awareness: Propose design solutions that are cost-conscious regarding construction, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), and long-term Facilities Management (FM).
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-tender and post-completion design reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future delivery benchmarks.
