Job Description: 

Job Summary

Responsible for construction implementation process.

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for the implementation of the construction works commencing from the tender award to the practical completion of projects.

· Responsibility for implementing projects as per the construction drawings and contract requirements.

· To monitor and ensure the progress of construction works is on schedule and complied with the required quality standard.

· Responsible to keep track the progress billing stage completion.

· To attend all Authorities’ inspection.

· To attend Board of Directors’ Meeting, Management Meeting, Authorities’ meeting and, to chair Construction Implementation and Control Meeting.

· Recommendation on Variation Order (if any) for General Manager’s approval.

· To liaise with other heads of department such as contract matters, approval status and future development.

· To liaise with Architects and consultants on technical matters in relation to construction works.

· To approve all staffs monthly claim and COW over time claim.

· Participating in manpower planning, interview and recruitment. Consistently advocate sustainable environmental planning into department’s.

· To demonstrate leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the quality and environmental management system in the department / project.

· Ensure departmental environmental sustainability target/ KPI are monitored and reported periodically to respective GM.

· Ensure applicable environmental responsibilities or authorities for relevant roles within its department are assigned, communicated and maintained as documented information.

· Take ownership for departmental processes and ensuring relevant environmental procedure and record are retained/ updated and conforms to the ISO 14001 requirement.

· To comply with applicable legal and other requirements.

· To take responsibility to protect the environment and prevent pollution.

· To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.

· Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

· Degree in Civil Engineering.
