About the role
DT Infrastructure, as part of the TasVic Greenlink joint venture with Samsung C&T Corporation Australia, has been awarded the contract to deliver the Balance of Works package for Marinus Link Stage 1
We are seeking a Project Engineer based in Gippsland to provide high-level engineering, technical leadership, and project delivery oversight, ensuring complex construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design, quality, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will drive engineering excellence, support programme milestones, manage risks, and optimise cost performance across assigned work packages, working closely with the Project Manager to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to and execute project strategies aligned with the DTI Blue Sheet, Strategy Map, and organisational plans.
- Lead, plan, and coordinate engineering deliverables across complex work packages.
- Lead engineering delivery, planning, and constructability, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and contractual requirements.
- Resolve technical issues, oversee subcontractors, and provide progress reporting to project leadership and clients.
- Implement and maintain quality plans, ITPs, test records, and compliance documentation, ensuring timely close-out of RFIs, NCRs, and assurance artefacts.
- Drive a quality culture, ensuring conformance to project standards, and oversee QA/QC systems for complete traceability of engineering artefacts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality technical advice.
