About the Project: Jinbi Solar Farm
DT Infrastructure is delivering the 75MW Jinbi Solar Farm in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, a landmark renewable energy project on Yindjibarndi Country. Comprising around 160,000 solar panels, the project will supply clean, reliable power to Rio Tinto’s operations and play a key role in decarbonising the region while supporting long-term community and economic outcomes.
About the Position
We are seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers (Civil or Electrical) to join our team on the Jinbi Solar Farm project.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee construction engineering activities across civil or electrical packages. You will provide technical leadership, drive schedule and budget performance, manage interfaces, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring delivery meets high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate civil work packages (earthworks, piling, internal roads) or electrical scopes (HV/MV reticulation, substations, solar arrays).

Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, risks, and cost controls.

Provide technical advice, constructability input, and engineering solutions.

Prepare scopes, estimates, methodologies, and project documentation.

Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and multi-disciplinary site interfaces.

Support procurement, subcontract administration, and quality compliance.

Lead and mentor junior engineers and site teams.
Experience and Capabilities:
-
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Electrical) or equivalent; eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.

5–8+ years' experience in civil construction, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, or major projects.

Demonstrated track record managing complex civil or electrical work packages.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and project controls.

Proven leadership abilities to mentor junior staff and coordinate stakeholders.

Strong commercial acumen and proficiency in project systems (Primavera P6 desirable).
