About The Role
DT Infrastructure have significant project opportunities in the Pilbara and are now seeking Project Managers with a strong background in Structural and Roads construction projects to ensure the successful delivery of projects in the North West region of WA.
Based in the Pilbara on either 4:3 (4 days on / 3 days off) or 8:6 (8 days on / 6 days off) FIFO roster, this role is an integral part of creating and maintaining client relationships and successful project delivery measured across HSE, commercial, financial, program and quality outcomes compared with Client and DTI requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the North West Operations Manager, responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Maintaining and fostering regular client relationships and conduct effective and professional negotiations.
- Demonstrating commitment to HSE through development and implementation of DTI and local risk management initiatives, scheduling and conduct of HSE audits, work site visits, and safety discussions.
- Build a driven team which works with clients to understand and meet their needs.
- Provide an environment for continuous improvement of safety, with the ultimate aim of giving each employee the best possible chance of remaining injury free in the work place.
- Closely monitor project costs on a regular basis and take corrective action where deviations from budget occur.
- Resource and develop an effective, appropriately skilled and empowered team able to deliver the required services and demand of the wider organisation.
- Prepare accurate and timely narrative monthly reports that contain movements and progress that address all requirements of DTI’s Project Management Methodology.
What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or similar.
- Previous experience at a similar level on road upgrade and/or structural construction projects.
- Prior programming/ planning experience, financial analysis and management skills.
- The ability to lead and manage a team in geographic disperse locations.
- Understanding of commercial conditions relating to contract management, valuations, industrial environment.
