The Jinbi Solar Farm is a development of the YEC (Yindjibarndi Energy Corporation which is a JV between Traditional Owners the Yindjibarndi People and ACEN Corporation). The farm is providing power to the Rio Tinto network. Jinbi Solar Farm Project involves the construction, operation, and decommissioning of approximately 75-megawatt peak (MWp) of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation. Jinbi Solar Farm project site is located approximately 60km south-east of Karratha WA or 1hr 20 minutes’ drive from Karratha.

DTI has been engaged as an EPC contractor to design and construct the farm. The project team will be based in a local camp, on a 2:1 roster arrangement.
