Job Summary
The Senior Marketing Executive plays a key role in conceptualizing, planning, and executing marketing campaigns and events that drive footfall, enhance tenant sales, and build brand visibility for the shopping mall. With a strong focus on events and activations, the role requires a creative, hands-on individual with excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Plan, Marketing Strategy, Branding & Budgeting
• Develop Marketing Business Plan that includes budgeting.
• Plan, organize, and execute in-mall events, festivals, exhibitions, seasonal campaigns, and community activations.
• Work closely with event vendors, contractors, creative agencies, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure cost-efficiency and high impact.
• Evaluate event performance with post-event reports, tenant feedback, and footfall/sales tracking.
• To lease out the mall promotional or exhibition spaces, ad panels and push carts or kiosks for revenues
Marketing & Promotions
• Support in the development and implementation of the mall’s annual marketing calendar.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns including digital, social media, print, and on-ground marketing.
• Liaise with tenants to create joint promotions, product launches, and mall-wide sales campaigns.
• Develop marketing materials such as posters, buntings, digital content, and press releases.
Tenant & Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as the main liaison for tenants on marketing-related matters.
• Assist tenants in amplifying their store promotions via mall channels.
• Build strong working relationships with tenants, media partners, sponsors, and local communities
Digital Marketing Support
• Assist in managing the mall’s social media accounts and website content updates.
• Work with designers to create engaging visuals and digital content.
• Track and analyze digital campaign performance and recommend improvements
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Media, Advertising, Communication, Creative Multimedia, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event planning, preferably in retail, malls, lifestyle, or hospitality industries
- Proven track record in organizing successful public events or promotional campaigns.
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work on weekends or public holidays as when required.
Skills & Abilities
- Familiarity with mall marketing KPIs (footfall, sales uplift, engagement metrics)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, and basic Adobe tools
- Experience working with media, influencers, or PR agencies
- Familiar with basic video or content creation tools.
