Job Summary

To conduct research and analysis and provide support to the PMU Sustainability unit in implementing Gamuda Land’s sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Benchmarking
⦁    Conduct research on sustainable real estate practices, green building certifications, energy-efficient technologies and eco-friendly materials.
⦁    Analyse market trends related to sustainable real estate and identify potential opportunities for Gamuda Land to incorporate green initiatives.

 

Data Tracking & Analysis
⦁    Assist in collecting and compiling sustainability data including energy consumption, water usage, waste generation, and emissions.
⦁    Support the team in maintaining sustainability tracking spreadsheets or dashboards.

 

Compliance, Audits & Reporting
⦁    Assist in maintaining documentation related to relevant Management System.
⦁    Support the preparation of documentation for internal and external environmental audits.

 

Project Support & Collaboration
⦁    Support the team in the day-to-day implementation of sustainable initiatives in ongoing real estate projects.
⦁    Assist in preparing materials for meetings, sustainability initiatives, or internal awareness activities.
⦁    Support the organisation of sustainability-related initiatives or internal events when required.

 

General Duties
⦁    Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding current business activities, short- and long-term plans, proposals, and other sensitive information.
⦁    Communicate effectively with the team in a timely manner to ensure clear information sharing and alignment.
⦁    Perform any other relevant duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree program in Sustainable Digital Construction Management or related fields such as Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies or Environmental Engineering.

Skills & Abilities

⦁    Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
⦁    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
⦁    Detail-oriented, analytical and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 

Competencies required

⦁    Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
⦁    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
⦁    Familiarity with AutoCAD.
⦁    Additional knowledge of Power BI or data visualization tools is an advantage.
