About the role
As a Governance & Reporting Assistant, you will support the governance, reporting and administration of renewable energy development projects across our portfolio. Working closely with the Development team, you will coordinate reporting, maintain project documentation, monitor progress and ensure accurate, timely information is available to support effective project delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate governance reporting across multiple renewable energy development projects.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, dashboards and performance updates for project teams and senior leadership.
- Track project milestones, actions, risks, decisions and key deliverables to support effective project controls.
- Monitor project progress against schedules, reporting requirements and governance frameworks.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, registers and records, ensuring appropriate version control and document management.
- Coordinate governance meetings, including agendas, minutes, action tracking and follow-up of outstanding items.
- Support document reviews, approvals and governance workflows across project teams.
- Coordinate reporting inputs from Development Managers and project stakeholders to ensure accurate and consistent information.
- Assist with subcontractor progress claim tracking and preparation of draft payment certificates in line with contract requirements.
- Support the continuous improvement of governance, reporting processes, templates and project controls.
Skills and experience:
- Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, Commerce or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years’ experience in project coordination, governance, reporting, document control or project administration, ideally within infrastructure, construction, energy or renewable energy.
- Experience preparing reports, dashboards, governance documentation and maintaining accurate project records.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with experience using systems such as SharePoint, ACC, Teams or reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of project governance, risk management, project controls or renewable energy development processes will be highly regarded.
