About the Project: Carmody's Hill Wind Farm
DT Infrastructure has been awarded the full Balance of Plant scope for the Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm project in the Mid North region of South Australia.
The 256 MW utility-scale wind farm, developed by Aula Energy and Renewable Project Services, is scheduled to commence construction in early 2026, with operations expected to begin in late 2028.
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Civil to join us on this once in a generation project! Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, you'll be working within the Civils team and accountable for providing engineering, technical, quality support and other duties as delegated by the Project Manager and Operations Manager.
This is a permanent full-time position with DTI and there will be opportunities to grow and move onto future projects. There will be an opportunity for either DIDO from SA working on a 5:2 roster or FIFO from WA on a 2:1 roster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that the project is delivered in accordance with time, budget and quality requirements
- Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress
- Coordinate and supervise technical aspects of the project
- Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
- Verification of subcontractors' claims and variations
- Effective management of work programs and performance of teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes
- Execute a working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project
- Conduct effective and professional negotiation of work with clients
- Interpret designs for construction implementation and contribute to improvements to existing designs
To be successful:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 3 years experience working within a Project Engineer role managing civil scopes within the relevant industry.
- Experience in researching and understanding complex information to develop and implement delivery solutions
- Prior programming and planning experience
