About the Project: Carmody's Hill Wind Farm Project

DT Infrastructure has been awarded the full Balance of Plant scope for the Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm project in the Mid North region of South Australia. 

The 256 MW utility-scale wind farm, developed by Aula Energy and Renewable Project Services, is scheduled to commence construction in early 2026, with operations expected to begin in late 2028.

About the Position

 

Looking for an experienced Environmental Advisor to join our Carmody's Hill Wind Farm project. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you'll be accountable for promoting best practice environmental systems of work and to ensure that a safe workplace is provided for employees. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams, operations, and other departments on environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and best practices. 

  • Conduct environmental assessments and due diligence studies to identify potential environmental risks and impacts. 

  • Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMPs) to mitigate environmental risks and ensure compliance. 

  • Review project proposals and designs, providing input on environmental considerations and recommending mitigation measures. 

  • Monitor environmental performance and compliance, conducting audits and inspections as needed. 

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in civil, rail or construction industry.

  • Nationally recognised Auditor Qualification.
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental, occupational health and safety and other legislation (subordinate and primary).
  • Well-developed knowledge relating to the maintenance of Quality Systems (ISO9001).
  • Well-developed verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills including consultative communications skills.
  • Report writing and data analysis skills.
  • Organising and planning skills.
