About the Project

 

 

DT Infrastructure have been awarded the design and construction of both the Wind Farm Facility and the Dedicated Network Asset.

The scope for the Wind Farm Facility is inclusive of 42 Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) - foundations and associated civil works including hardstands for the Owner's contractor to install the WTG components, the 33kV underground electrical reticulation between the WTGs, the 33 kV/275kV windfarm substation (inclusive of the switch room, transformers and associated equipment), the Wind Farm O&M facility and 2no. permanent met masts

The scope for the Dedicated Network Asset is inclusive of 12.8km of 275kV overhead transmission line from the Carmody's Hill Switching Station to the Narridy Switching Station and the Carmody's Hill Switching Station. 

About the Position

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our Carmody's Hill Wind Farm project. Reporting to the Senior Contracts Administrator, you'll be accountable for supporting project reporting, forecasting, scheduling, costing planning and commercial activities for all Engineering Services projects. This position offers a rostered arrangement, DIDO (Drive in Drive out), the roster is 14:7. 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assisting with the administration of head contracts and subcontracts, supporting project delivery, risk management, reporting, and project closeout activities.
  • Development of contractual documentation in alignment with project objectives. 
  • Assist in the preparation of commercial and risk management documentation, process flowcharts, and pro formas. 
  • Provide administrative support for procurement documentation to ensure materials and subcontract services are engaged in line with project schedules and budgets. 
  • Administer head contracts and subcontracts in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Support the Project Director with cost forecasting and earned value reporting on projects.
  • Prepare commercial and contractual reports for project teams, Senior Contracts Administrator, and clients. 
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of project registers, including delays, variations, and insurance records. 

To be successful:

 

  • Diploma or Bachelor-level study in Business, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Experience in contract administration or commercial management is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within a Cost Controller position is desirable 
  • Experience in administering contracts, processing claims and variations, and maintaining subcontractor documentation.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, commercial principles, and project administration practices
