Carmody's Hill Wind Farm will generate 256.2 megawatts (MW) of wind generation capacity using 42 turbines, delivered via a 12.8km of 275 kilovolt (kV) transmission line connecting into the existing Davenport to Brinkworth 275kV line.
DTI's scope of works includes: the design and construction of both the Wind Farm Facility and the Dedicated Network Asset.
The scope for the Wind Farm Facility is inclusive of 42 Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) - foundations and associated civil works including hardstands for the Owner's contractor to install the WTG components, the 33kV underground electrical reticulation between the WTGs, the 33 kV/275kV windfarm substation (inclusive of the switchroom, transformers and associated equipment), the Wind Farm O&M facility and 2no. permanent met masts.
The scope for the Dedicated Network Asset is inclusive of 12.8km of 275kV overhead transmission line from the Carmody's Hill Switching Station to the Narridy Switching Station and the Carmody's Hill Switching Station.  Additionally, a number of temporary works are also to be constructed such as a temporary site batching plant, installation of temporary water supply pipeline and 3no. temporary met masts.
