Job Summary

The Executive - Credit Administration, Finance & Accounting is responsible for supporting the efficient and compliant administration of the company's credit facilities and financial instruments. This role involves managing credit documentation, processing drawdowns, monitoring compliance with credit terms, and maintaining accurate records within the financial framework. The Executive works closely with sales, finance, legal, and risk teams to ensure the integrity, effective management, and smooth operation of the credit portfolio, contributing to sound financial practices and risk mitigation. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process credit applications and requests, ensuring all required documentation (e.g., loan agreements, collateral, guarantees, legal opinions) is complete, accurate, and properly executed. 

  • Set up and maintain credit limits, terms, and conditions in the credit administration system or ERP. Ensure all credit files (physical and digital) are meticulously organized and up-to-date. Monitor compliance with credit covenants (e.g., financial ratios, reporting requirements) and escalate any breaches or potential issues to the Credit Manager or Risk team. 

  • Process drawdowns, disbursements, and repayments related to credit facilities, ensuring adherence to approved terms and internal controls. Track utilization of credit lines and provide regular updates. Maintain meticulous records of all credit transactions, communications, and approvals.  

  • Ensure proper archiving and retrieval of credit-related documents in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure all credit administration activities adhere to internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., Know Your Customer - KYC, Anti-Money Laundering - AML). 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience in credit administration, banking operations, or financial services. 

  • Strong understanding of credit processes, financial instruments, and related documentation. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills for data management and reporting.

  • Meticulous in managing complex credit documentation, processing transactions, and maintaining precise records. 

  • Strong ability to analyze credit data, identify discrepancies, and contribute to problem-solving. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial information clearly and professionally to diverse stakeholders. 

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain comprehensive credit files. 

  • Proactive in identifying administrative issues, investigating root causes, and proposing effective solutions. 

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

3 Years and above in relevant working experience
