About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects across Queensland. As an Environmental Manager, you will lead environmental planning, approvals and compliance across complex project environments, ensuring sustainability, regulatory and community outcomes are embedded from early works through to delivery.
Working closely with the Project Director and multidisciplinary teams, you will influence project outcomes at scale and help shape best-practice environmental management as DT Infrastructure continues to grow its presence in the renewables sector.
This position is a FIFO from Brisbane to Central QLD on a 2/1 roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead environmental planning, compliance and regulatory requirements across renewable energy projects.
- Ensure environmental management plans, approvals and monitoring programs are implemented and maintained.
- Provide expert environmental and statutory advice to project teams, clients and regulators.
- Manage environmental risks, audits, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, authorities and consultants to support successful project outcomes
About you
- Tertiary qualification in environmental science, environmental engineering, environmental management, planning or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing environmental compliance and regulatory requirements on large infrastructure or renewables projects.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, approvals processes and environmental management systems.
- Experience engaging with regulators, stakeholders and project teams in complex delivery environments.
- A proactive, well-organised professional with strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
