About the role
DT Infrastructure, as part of the TasVic Greenlink joint venture with Samsung C&T Corporation Australia, has been awarded the contract to deliver the Balance of Works package for Marinus Link Stage 1.
With a strong pipeline of work supporting the Marinus Link Project, we are seeking an Engineering Coordinator – Digital to support the delivery of a complex HVDC transmission project across multiple jurisdictions.
Reporting to Engineering leadership, the role will assist in embedding Digital Engineering (DE) practices, ensuring BIM, GIS, CAD, and asset data are integrated and aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate Digital Engineering (DE) deliverables across designers, contractors, and delivery partners.
- Collaborate with project managers, senior leaders, and the Digital Functional Team to provide updates and escalate issues.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support the integration and quality assurance of BIM, GIS, and CAD data.
- Contribute to governance, compliance, and reporting activities.
Experience and capabilities:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 2+ years’ relevant experience in Digital Engineering, BIM, GIS, or CAD environments.
- Experience using DE tools and collaboration platforms, including coordination and integration of various models throughout lifecycle phases.
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 (and related standards) and systems engineering principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
