Job Summary

Responsible to ensure smooth operation, and supervise all maintenance works, for electrical plant and equipment, and telemetry and instrumentation systems and units

Key Responsibilities

To ensure all electrical plant and equipment, and telemetry and instrumentation systems and units, are in optimum operating condition in order to support uninterrupted production of potable water. To ensure all stand-by plant and equipment, and systems and units, are in workable condition when needed.
To supervise routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance and calibration for all electrical plant and equipment, and telemetry and instrumentation based on operation manuals and manufacture recommendations.
To assist E&I Engineer to plan for long term rehabilitation/replacement of electrical plant and equipment, telemetry and instrumentation systems and units.
To properly and systematically record all maintenance works and submits to E&I Engineer for retention and further submissions.
To keep track of information relating to inventory for spare parts, service tools and maintenance materials. To report to E&I Engineer on purchase requirement and planning of the spare parts, tools and material.
To strive for optimization of all electrical plant and equipment, and telemetry and instrumentation performance and effectiveness by conducting proper and professional checks and maintenance.
To supervise all breakdown and emergencies maintenance involving instrumentation breakdown which disrupt water production at all times.
Assist electrical technicians & equipment and Chargeman in electrical, telemetry and instrumentation work.
Assist electrical & instruments technicians and Chargeman provide maintenance reports, well-recovered reports, spare parts inventory, equipment inventory and maintenance items.
Maintain on-line analyser equipment
To comply with QESH and ISMS ISO requirements and instruction.
To report & assist in accident investigation.
To conduct HIRADC (Hazard identification, Risk Assessment And Determining Control) and Aspect & Impact for environment.
To attend QESH and ISMS ISO training.
To ensure good housekeeping.
To inspect workplace.
To conduct tool box talk.
To attend QESH/ISMS induction and training.
To perform job responsibilities and assigned tasks in accordance with relevant QESH/ISMS procedures and legal requirement.
To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

Minimum Posses certificate in Wireman.

Skills & Abilities

Knowledge and experience in electrical plant and equipment, and telemetry and instrumentation.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

At least 3 years of experience, preferably someone with electrical plant and equipment background.
