Job Summary

The Despatch Cum Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of documents, parcels, and materials to various locations. This role supports office, including banking, government-related tasks, and supply runs. The candidate must possess a valid driving license and be able to drive both car and motorcycle. Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform timely pickup and delivery of documents, parcels, and goods.
• Support office errands such as bank deposits, bill payments, and postage.
• Ensure proper documentation for all deliveries and collections.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Assist with minor office logistics tasks and stock movements when required.
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to the supervisor. 

Qualifications

• SPM / equivalent qualification.
• Possess a valid driving license (Especially class: D/B2).
• Clean driving record with no major traffic offenses.
• Familiar with routes in Penang 

Skills & Abilities

• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discipline.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to handle minor lifting tasks. 

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

At least 1-2 years of working experience in a similar role.
