About the role

DT Infrastructure is emerging as a leader in the renewable energy sector and is continuing to grow its project portfolio across regional Queensland. We are looking for a Civil Design Manager, who will be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering design on major renewable projects, leading consultants and internal teams to ensure integrated, compliant and value-driven design outcomes.

Working closely with the Project Director and construction teams, this role is critical to ensuring seamless design-to-construction delivery while meeting regulatory, safety, quality and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all civil engineering design activities across renewable projects, including external design consultants.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual, regulatory and assurance requirements, including systems engineering and configuration control.
• Drive integration between design and construction to achieve safe, buildable and value-for-money outcomes.
• Lead design assurance, change management and risk identification throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with clients, regulators and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

About you

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
• Experience in leading engineering or design teams on large infrastructure or renewables projects.
• Strong understanding of D&C delivery, design assurance, systems engineering and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage consultants, stakeholders and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• A proactive, detail-oriented leader with strong communication skills and the ability to perform in fast-paced project environments.
