Job Summary

The Assistant Manager - Architecture is responsible for overseeing and managing the architectural department's operations, projects, and team. This role involves developing and implementing architectural strategies, ensuring design excellence, and maintaining client relationships. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with senior leadership to align architectural projects with business objectives, drive innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality architectural solutions. This position requires a blend of architectural expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing architectural strategies aligned with organizational goals  

• Oversee multiple architectural projects from conception to completion  

• Manage and mentor a team of architects, designers, and technical staff  

• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards  

• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results  

• Review and approve architectural designs, plans, and specifications  

• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively  

• Implement and maintain quality control processes for all architectural outputs  

• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable design practices  

• Participate in business development activities and maintain client relationships  

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated project delivery  

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings  

• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and reports for clients and senior management  

• Ensure the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and other relevant technologies  

• Contribute to the development of company standards, best practices, and design guidelines 

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution  

• Licensed architect with active registration  

• Comprehensive knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building systems  

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies  

• Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D modeling tools
