About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects across Queensland. As a Senior Environmental Advisor working closely with project leadership and site teams, you will play a key role in managing environmental risks, supporting regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in environmental performance across a complex and fast-paced project environment.
This is a 2:1 FIFO role from Brisbane.This position is a FIFO from Brisbane to Central QLD on a 2/1 roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide environmental advice and support to project teams across construction activities
- Ensure compliance with environmental approvals, legislation, and management plans
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring activities
- Manage environmental risks, incidents, reporting, and corrective actions
- Engage with regulators, clients, and stakeholders to support compliance outcomes
About you
- Tertiary qualification in environmental science, management, or related field
- Experience in environmental roles on major infrastructure or renewable projects
- Strong understanding of Queensland environmental legislation and approvals
- Experience in site-based construction environments and compliance monitoring
- Strong communicator with a practical, solutions-focused and collaborative approach
