About the role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Digital Engineer to join our National Digital Engineering team, based in our Brisbane head office, supporting the delivery of the Smoky Creek & Guthries Gap Solar Power Station Project.

Reporting to the National Digital Engineering Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in embedding Digital Engineering across the projects, ensuring BIM, GIS, CAD and asset information are integrated, coordinated and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with project teams, designers and delivery partners, you'll help drive the transition from traditional 2D workflows to a digitally enabled, model-based delivery environment that improves collaboration, quality and project outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity to influence how major renewable energy infrastructure is delivered while working alongside a national team shaping DT Infrastructure's Digital Engineering capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of Digital Engineering across the projects, ensuring BIM, GIS, CAD and asset data meet project and client requirements.
  • Coordinate and assure Digital Engineering deliverables from consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance with Digital Engineering Execution Plans and industry standards.
  • Facilitate model coordination, technical reviews and collaborative 3D workflows to improve project planning, delivery and decision making.
  • Partner with project stakeholders to develop Digital Engineering standards, governance and quality assurance processes across the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and advice to project teams while driving continuous improvement in Digital Engineering practices.

About you

  • Degree qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline with significant Digital Engineering experience on major infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise across BIM, CAD, GIS, federated models and Digital Engineering execution planning.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design models and working with consultants, contractors and client teams.
  • Strong understanding of Digital Engineering standards, information management and whole-of-life asset data requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence, mentor and collaborate across diverse project teams.
