Job Summary

The Marketing Intern supports the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies to drive revenue, brand growth, footfall, and guest engagement across all GL Play leisure and hospitality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, content, influencer, PR, on-ground activation) to support ticket sales, bookings, and occupancy.
  • Assist in developing campaign messaging, visuals, creative briefs, and promotional plans aligned with brand identity.
  • Assist in tracking performance metrics and optimize content based on data.
  • Assist in communication with tourism boards, travel agents, hotels, lifestyle brands, schools, and corporate partners.
  • Assist in promotions, bundles creation, seasonal campaigns, and influencer engagements.
  • Assist in event execution including themed events, festive activations, meet & greets, media visits, group sales events, and special experiences. • Assist in market research, consumer insights, competitor analysis, and pricing studies.
  •  Assist in preparing weekly/monthly marketing performance, campaign ROI and sales tracking reports.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Assist in permit applications, contract renewal, vendor onboarding, PO processing and documentation and all others marketing related administrative task. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business, Tourism or related field. 
  • CGPA - 3.0 and above
  •  Strong command of English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage.
  •  Must be creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, proactive and able to handle fast-moving environments.
  •  Possess own transport & valid driving license.
