Job Summary
Primary focus will be on IT Support for CRE division (e.g Leisure & Hospitality, Leasing, Retail & Malls, CRE-Central and CRE-Project).
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all existing IT infrastructure and end-user equipment within the CRE Division to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Provision IT devices, troubleshoot issues, and provide end-user support across various IT-related matters.
• Provide support for the end-user computing environment, including client hardware, network connectivity, Active Directory records, email systems, SharePoint, Office 365, print technologies, and other office software.
• Oversee the transition of newly implemented systems from the IT Applications, Infrastructure, and Project Management teams to ensure effective long-term support and continuity.
• Participate in the installation, configuration, and testing of IT infrastructure equipment, ensuring best practices and documentation are followed.
• Liaise with service providers and vendors to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues beyond the scope of internal IT Support, escalating to the IT Support Manager when necessary.
• Maintain service uptime for all backend IT systems including servers, storage, network equipment, backup systems, email, collaboration tools, mobile devices, and enterprise services to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable operations.
• Monitor system performance and bandwidth utilization, taking proactive measures to ensure optimal network and server performance.
• Perform system upgrades and patches regularly to maintain security and compatibility across infrastructure components.
• Carry out regular data backup and restoration tasks to comply with financial and business continuity requirements.
• Provide contingency solutions to support business continuity in the event of system failures.
• Support disaster recovery efforts, including providing technical inputs during failover decisions and execution.
• Assist with budgeting and procurement processes for IT equipment, services, and solutions, including vendor engagement, quotation evaluation, and purchase recommendations to align with cost-effectiveness and organizational needs.
• Provide support for POS (Point-of-Sale) systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and coordination with vendors for timely resolution.
• Maintain an up-to-date IT asset inventory, ensuring proper tracking, tagging, and lifecycle management of hardware and software assets.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications
• Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Masters in IT related qualification.
Skills & Abilities
• Experience in Key Infrastructure Technologies: Expertise in Windows Server 2012 Enterprise, VMware, HP Data Protector (Backup & Storage), iSCSI storage technologies, Firewall security, Networking including VLAN segmentations, inter-office WAN provisioning, and modern network monitoring and management solutions such as Meraki and Aruba switches.
• Cloud Computing: Knowledge of Google Cloud or similar cloud platforms for scalable IT solutions.
• End-User Support: Proficient in providing support across all types of computing devices and platforms such as laptop/desktop/Point of Sales devices, office application software, and telephony services tailored to the CRE Division technology environment.
• Peripheral and System Support: Skilled in managing printers, projectors, door access systems, and other IT-related end-user infrastructures.
• Industry-Specific Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience supporting IT environments in themed parks or similar organizational levels.
• Database and Application Management: Familiarity with MySQL/SQL databases and corporate application systems such as ERP is advantageous.
• Certifications and Added Skills: Certifications such as ITIL V4, PMP, CCNA, or CCNP are highly desirable, alongside knowledge of O365 products, including Power Apps and Power BI.
• Team Work: Proven ability to work as a team to achieve a common goal and assist other team members for additional coverage on applications
• Flexibility: Willing and able to work on rotational schedule is a must, including weekends, public holidays, and after-office hours as needed.
