Engineer - Interfacing

Job Summary

Overall design & project management of a Water Treatment plant project including coordination and interfacing among various disciplines within the organisation, design consultants and external parties. Provide technical support during pre, during & post construction stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Full understanding of the Water Treatment plant project requirements particularly related to the demarcation and interfacing scope of works between disciplines.
• Collaborate closely with internal M&E trades (particularly Mechanical Process, Electrical, ICA) and other disciplines such as civil, structural, and architectural to establish effective communication and coordination within project’s design and construction phases.
• Review and manage deliverables by the design consultants to ensure timely delivery of the design and information required.
• Review and manage coordination works of various discipline sub-contractors to ensure works are integrated accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with sub-contractors, overseeing installation, and ensuring the works are completed on time and within budget.
• Carry out site inspections.
• Attend meetings (progress/interfacing/etc).
• Maintaining records and documentation.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience.
• Experienced in Water Treatment plant project(s) is an added advantage.
