Job Summary
Primary focus will be on IT Support for CRE division (e.g Leisure & Hospitality, Leasing, Retail & Malls, CRE-Central and CRE-Project).
Key Responsibilities
•To manage all existing IT Infrastructure and End-User equipment within the CRE Division in order for all these components to continue to function on a day-to-day basis.
•To provision the necessary devices, support issue resolutions and user IT related assistance.
•To transition in all new systems from the Applications, Infrastructure and Project teams in order to assume on-going support efforts.
•Support end-user computing environment in the areas of client hardware & network connectivity, Active Directory records management, emailing system, Sharepoint, Office 365 related products, print technology and other office software.
•Transition all new Implemented systems from IT applications Team, IT Infrastructure Team and IT Project management team to assume supportability.
•To lead and assist with all pricing, promotions & admin settings for systems used within CRE Division such as BOS, Xilnex, Maxis Magento, Yardi and not limited to any other point-of-sales platforms that would be implemented.
•Participate where appropriate in detail installation, configuration and testing procedures of all IT Infrastructure equipment implementations.
•To liase with respective service providers and vendors to analyze, trouble-shoot, resolve and document all operational issues faced which cannot be resolved within the IT Support or Gamuda Group IT team. To provide update and escalate issues accordingly to IT Support manager if necessary.
•To maintain the service uptime for all servers, storage, network equipment, backup/storage components, emails, collaboration tools, mobile devices, Enterprise Services, and all other related IT backend equipment necessary to allow respective business units or departments to operate in the most efficient, secured and reliable way.
•Perform necessary system upgrade and patches to keep all versions of IT Infrastructure equipment up –to-date.
•To perform the required Backup and Restoration required that meet financial and business compliance.
•Provide alternative or backup solution to end-users in the event of failures in order to allow business operation resumption.
•Assist and provide technical information in technical servers and system fail-over decision during a need for Disaster Recovery activation and execution.
•To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
•Assist in budget planning and the procurement process for IT equipment, services, and solutions to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
•Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Masters in IT related qualification.
- Experience in Key Infrastructure Technologies: Expertise in Windows Server 2012 Enterprise, VMware, HP Data Protector (Backup & Storage), iSCSI storage technologies, Firewall security, Networking including VLAN segmentations, inter-office WAN provisioning, and modern network monitoring and management solutions such as Meraki and Aruba switches.
- Cloud Computing: Knowledge of Google Cloud or similar cloud platforms for scalable IT solutions.
- End-User Support: Proficient in supporting mobile computing, laptop/desktop devices, office application software, and telephony services tailored to the CRE Division technology environment.
- Peripheral and System Support: Skilled in managing printers, projectors, door access systems, and other IT-related end-user infrastructures.
- Industry-Specific Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience supporting IT environments in themed parks or similar organizational levels.
- Database and Application Management: Familiarity with MySQL/SQL databases and corporate application systems such as ERP is advantageous.
- Certifications and Added Skills: Certifications such as ITIL V4, PMP, CCNA, or CCNP are highly desirable, alongside knowledge of O365 products, including Power Apps and Power BI.
- Staff Management: Proven ability to manage and supervise IT staff, ensuring efficient operations and collaboration within the team.
- Flexibility: Availability to work during off days or outside standard working hours to handle emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
