About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our Rail Systems team supporting the delivery of major rail infrastructure projects across South East Queensland.

This role will lead the planning, coordination and execution of testing, commissioning and handover activities across complex rail systems and infrastructure packages. Working closely with project teams, clients, operators, subcontractors and independent verifiers, you will play a critical role in ensuring systems are delivered safely, efficiently and ready for operational service.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence project outcomes from design and construction through to testing, accreditation and final handover while working on some of Queensland's most significant rail infrastructure programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all testing, commissioning and handover activities to achieve safe and successful project delivery
  • Develop and manage Testing & Commissioning Management Plans, programs and project requirements
  • Coordinate clients, operators, subcontractors and independent verifiers throughout testing and acceptance processes
  • Drive system integration, testing, accreditation and certification activities across rail infrastructure assets
  • Establish reporting, assurance and evidence management processes to support project handover requirements
  • Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams while ensuring commissioning activities align with project objectives, programme and quality requirements

About You

  • Extensive experience leading testing, commissioning and handover activities on major rail, transport or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of systems integration, acceptance testing, accreditation and operational readiness requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments including clients, operators, subcontractors and regulators
  • Proven leadership capability with experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
  • Strong planning, risk management and problem-solving skills with a focus on project outcomes
  • Passion for safety, quality and continuous improvement within complex infrastructure environments
