About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join the Smoky Creek and Guthries Gap Solar Power Station Project in Central Queensland.

Based in Brisbane CBD with occasional travel to Rockhampton, you will partner with the Senior Commercial Manager and project leadership team to drive commercial performance across this major renewable energy project.

You will lead contract administration, claims, change management, forecasting, cost control, risk management and reporting, while providing commercial leadership and ensuring strong project outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering nationally significant renewable energy infrastructure within a high-performing and collaborative project team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of commercial strategies, governance and contract administration processes across the project.
  • Manage contracts, claims, variations, risk, compliance and commercial reporting to protect project outcomes.
  • Drive forecasting, budgeting, cost control and financial performance throughout project delivery.
  • Provide commercial leadership and support to project teams, clients and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers while supporting team development.

About you

  • Degree qualified with proven Commercial Manager experience on major construction, infrastructure, energy or mining projects.
  • Strong expertise in contract administration, claims, variations and commercial management.
  • Demonstrated experience in forecasting, cost control, risk management and commercial reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and negotiate successful commercial outcomes.
  • Commercially astute leader with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery.
