We are looking for a Building Site Manager who will be responsible delivery of related building site works, ensuring that project targets are met. Key Responsibilities

 

  • Daily management and coordination of all Building scope being carried out by our Building Subcontractor
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Responsible for directing and managing Building Supervisors and coordinating works and interfaces with the other disciples Superintendents such as Civils & Rail
  • Reporting to the General Superintendent and coordinate the buildings works with other works on site such as Civils & Rail
  • Responsible for ensuring that subcontractor plans comply with project requirements for safety, quality, methodology, resourcing
  • Own and communicate the short-term lookahead program for delivery in coordination with the Project Manager, Engineers, and the Subcontractor
  • Chair or attend meetings and site forums necessary to ensure effective site operations
  • Foster a positive and respectful site working environment between all parties
  • Engage in the management of trade unions, in collaboration with the General Superintendent and Building Project Manager
  • Ensure that accurate records and registers of site operations are maintained
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

 

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Trade qualification with proven relevant experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering projects successfully in a similar role
  • In-depth experience in the building/construction industry, preferably with T1, T2 or T3 building experience
