About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our growing Rail division.

Based in Brisbane, this role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of major rail infrastructure projects across Australia, with FIFO opportunities available depending on project requirements. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll coordinate and supervise construction crews, subcontractors and site resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Working closely with project teams, clients and operational leaders, you'll play a key role in planning works, coordinating resources and driving successful project outcomes across a diverse portfolio of upcoming rail projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards
  • Coordinate site crews, subcontractors, plant and materials to achieve project milestones and programme requirements
  • Plan and prioritise works while monitoring productivity, compliance and resource allocation
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery
  • Promote a positive safety culture while ensuring compliance with DTI procedures, rail standards and legislative requirements
  • Support reporting, workforce planning and continuous improvement across project operations

About You

  • Proven supervisory experience within rail, construction or major infrastructure projects
  • Experience leading site-based teams and coordinating subcontractors in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong planning, organisation and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Sound understanding of construction methodologies, quality systems and safe work practices
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams
  • A proactive leader with a strong commitment to safety, teamwork and delivering successful project outcomes
