About the role
DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our growing Rail division.
Based in Brisbane, this role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of major rail infrastructure projects across Australia, with FIFO opportunities available depending on project requirements. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll provide day-to-day leadership of site teams, supervising construction activities while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients, you'll play a key role in coordinating site operations, managing resources and driving successful project outcomes across a diverse portfolio of upcoming rail projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of site teams, subcontractors and construction activities across major rail projects
- Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, procurement and construction programmes to achieve delivery milestones
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and implement practical solutions to maintain safety, quality and programme objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders while driving successful project outcomes
- Oversee workforce planning, timesheets, compliance, quality assurance and reporting requirements
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, teamwork, continuous improvement and operational excellence
About You
- Proven experience as a Superintendent, Senior Supervisor or equivalent leadership role within rail infrastructure projects
- Strong background delivering track, signalling, overhead wiring or multidisciplinary rail construction works
- Demonstrated ability to lead large site-based workforces and subcontractors across complex infrastructure projects
- Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills with strong commercial awareness
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation while driving project delivery
- Relevant rail competencies and certifications, with appropriate Track Safe Working qualifications highly regarded
