About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Superintendent (Mechanical & Piling) to join our team delivering the Smoky Creek Solar Farm near Westwood, Queensland.

Operating on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Brisbane, flying to Rockhampton before travelling to site, this role offers a 20% site uplift and full camp accommodation. Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day delivery of the project's mechanical and piling works, overseeing site teams and subcontractors to ensure construction activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior leadership role on one of Queensland's largest renewable energy projects, contributing to Australia's clean energy future while working with an experienced project team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical and piling construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget
  • Supervise site teams, supervisors and subcontractors while driving productivity, quality and safety outcomes
  • Coordinate construction schedules, resources, materials and plant to achieve project milestones
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks and implement practical solutions to maintain delivery objectives
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders while ensuring effective communication across site
  • Drive a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, continuous improvement and successful project delivery

About You

  • Extensive experience delivering mechanical construction projects within renewable energy, major infrastructure or heavy construction environments
  • Proven leadership experience managing large site-based workforces and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of mechanical construction, piling operations and project delivery methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage programme, safety, quality and commercial outcomes across complex construction projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • A proactive leader passionate about developing people and delivering successful project outcomes
