About the role
DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our growing Energy team in Queensland in a key leadership role responsible for the commercial governance and performance of major renewable energy projects.
With a strong pipeline of upcoming renewable energy work, you will play a critical role in leading the commercial and contractual management of project delivery. Reporting to the Project Director, you will develop and implement commercial strategies, drive project performance, manage risk and provide commercial leadership across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Working closely with project teams, clients and key stakeholders, you will oversee contract administration, procurement, cost control, claims management and forecasting to ensure successful project outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of major renewable energy infrastructure projects while supporting Queensland's energy transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial governance, contractual management and financial performance of major renewable energy projects across Queensland.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that drive project success while managing risk and protecting DT Infrastructure's interests.
- Provide expert commercial leadership and advice to Project Directors and senior project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee contract administration, procurement, cost control, forecasting, claims and change management activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
About you
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience in project delivery, including at least 5 years in a senior commercial leadership role on major infrastructure, energy or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial management, contract administration, procurement, risk management and claims resolution.
- Proven ability to lead commercial teams, influence stakeholders and deliver successful project outcomes in complex environments.
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.
