About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Project Finance Services Manager to join our finance team in Brisbane CBD.

Reporting to the Head of Project Finance Services, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day financial operations of our projects, overseeing our Project Finance Administrators to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes.

You will play a key role in maintaining governance across project finance administration, championing best practice, and enabling accurate financial performance reporting through variance analysis and monthly reporting cycles.

As a respected leader, you will foster a collaborative, supportive, and results-driven culture, building strong relationships across internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day delivery of high-quality P2P financial administration by the Project Finance Administrators.
• Oversee ticket resolution, vendor payment queries and ensure P2P process compliance.
• Assist with month-end activities, including accruals, reconciliations and project reporting.
• Mentor, coach and develop the PFA team, including training, workload management and performance feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in P2P processes, champion dashboards and reporting, and ensure all projects meet financial governance standards.

About you

• Certificate/Diploma in Finance, Business and/or Management (preferred).
• 5+ years construction project experience in a large organisation.
• Extensive experience in the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process, with knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Ability and confidence to deliver training material and develop team capability.
• Results-oriented, service-focused and proactive, with the ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and drive consistent high performance.
• Strong communicator and relationship-builder with a collaborative, team-focused approach.
