About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join our growing Rail Division in Brisbane. Supporting the Senior Project Manager and project delivery teams, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating project administration, workforce support, procurement, logistics, and financial processes across major rail infrastructure projects. This is a fast-paced and varied position requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build effective relationships with both site-based and office-based stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate day-to-day project administration activities to support the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, process receipting activities, and maintain accurate financial and project records.
  • Coordinate training bookings, workforce onboarding requirements, and site access accreditations.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and vehicle bookings for project personnel as required.
  • Procure and coordinate materials, consumables, and other project-related resources to support operational needs.
  • Maintain project documentation within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), ensuring records, correspondence, and reports are accurately managed.
  • Assist with workforce resourcing allocations and provide administrative support to project and operational teams.
  • Provide general administration support and assist with blue-collar workforce management activities, including timesheet coordination, mobilisation requirements, and workforce record maintenance.

Experience and capabilities

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or similar (highly desirable)
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card) (or willingness to obtain)
  • 2–5+ years of administration experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
  • Proven experience supporting multi-disciplinary project teams and handling timesheet, docket, or financial administration
  • Practical experience using EDMS tools (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex) and ERP/financial software (e.g., SAP, Jobpac, or equivalent)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
