About the role
We are seeking a motivated Contracts Administrator to join our team delivering the Smoky Creek Solar Farm near Westwood, Queensland.
Operating on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Brisbane, this role offers a 20% site uplift along with full camp accommodation. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the commercial and contractual delivery of one of Queensland's largest renewable energy projects.
Working closely with project engineers, package managers and the wider commercial team, you'll be involved in procurement, subcontract administration, cost control and reporting, ensuring contracts are effectively managed from award through to final account. Key Responsibilities
- Support subcontract procurement, including tender preparation, evaluation and contract award recommendations
- Administer subcontract agreements, including variations, progress claims, payments and contractual correspondence
- Assist with cost reporting, forecasting and commercial performance across the project
- Maintain commercial registers, cost tracking and contract documentation to support project delivery
- Work closely with project teams to identify commercial risks, opportunities and contract requirements
- Support the Commercial Manager with project reporting, budgeting and final account administration
About You
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commerce or a related discipline
- Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator or within a commercial/project controls role on construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of procurement, contract administration and cost management principles
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills with strong commercial awareness
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience within renewable energy, civil or major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded
