About the role

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Signalling to join our Rail Systems team supporting the delivery of major rail infrastructure projects across South East Queensland.

Based on the Sunshine Coast, this role will lead the delivery of signalling works across all project phases, from design and procurement through to construction, installation, testing, commissioning and handover. Working closely with project teams, clients, rail operators and subcontractors, you will be responsible for ensuring signalling systems are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements, programme objectives and industry standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a critical rail discipline while contributing to the successful delivery of complex transport infrastructure projects and supporting the continued growth of DT Infrastructure's rail business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead signalling delivery from design through to construction, testing, commissioning and handover
  • Manage interfaces across signalling, communications, train control, power and broader rail disciplines
  • Coordinate subcontractors, resources, materials and project documentation to achieve delivery objectives
  • Drive programme, cost, quality and safety outcomes across signalling work packages
  • Monitor project risks, issues and performance while providing regular reporting to project leadership
  • Ensure all works comply with client requirements, rail standards, legislation and DTI management systems

About You

  • Extensive experience delivering rail signalling projects within complex rail infrastructure environments
  • Strong understanding of signalling systems, construction methodologies, testing and commissioning requirements
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects safely, on time and within budget
  • Rail project experience with strong knowledge of signalling standards and operational rail environments
  • Engineering qualifications in electrical, telecommunications or related disciplines highly regarded
