About the role
DTI are delivering ongoing rail maintenance to support Fortescue's rail network and are hiring HC Driver’s with experience in float movements to join our team to support the North West Rail team in delivering rail maintenance for our clients. This is a FIFO position from Perth, on an 8/6 roster.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating trucks in a rail environment
- Float movements of DTI and client equipment (experience essential)
- Loading/unloading of various plant equipment including Hi-Rail Excavator
Experience and capabilities
To be successful in this role you must have the following:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a float movement role (essential)
- Possess minimum HC Driver’s license with good driving history (essential)
- Valid High-Risk Forklift Ticket
- Fatigue Management certification (main roads)
- Load restraint experience
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver medical is essential
- Loader and excavator tickets (preferred)
