About the role

As a result of our success and growth we are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Flashbutt Welder Operators to join our long-term rail maintainance projects based out of Port Hedland, WA.

 

This role is a full time position where you will be working on a 2:1 (14 days on/7 days off) FIFO Roster. These roles are well-suited to those with a high regard for safety and quality, and the demonstrated ability to operate and maintain machinery. 

Key Responsibilities

• Working in rail environment safely

• Ability to work alongside team members with various skills

• Maintenance on plant machinery

• Good oral and written communication with knowledge of day to day works under the guidance of the Supervisor

• Follow safety procedures and direction as required

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Perform general track maintenance as required

About You

• 2 years Flashbutt Welding experience

• Nationally accredited FBW certification

• Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure

• Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure

• Experience working within the Rail industry

• A proactive and well-informed approach to working safely

• Drivers Licence

• HR Licence

• White Card

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
