Job Summary
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Onboarding Engineer will organize and execute the project management and construction activities on a dredger and act as a translator between the crew.
Key Responsibilities
To ensure works on dredger is able to run smoothly
Act as the main translator between crewmates.
Day to day management including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
Overseeing quality control, safety & health and environmental matters on site.
Resolving any unexpected technical issues / difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Overseeing the selection and requisition and materials and plan to ensure all materials used are as per specifications.
Preparation of daily progress report and monthly progress report.
To work with other departments to settle issues when necessary.
To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Skills & Abilities
Able to communicate in Chinese
Good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office and AutoCAD)
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
2 Years in the relevant field
