SRS TC Sdn Bhd, which is employed by the PD, is tasked with the reclamation of Island A. It shall award the design and construction of the Phase 1 reclamation works to Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd (GESB) on a design and build lump sum contract basis.
SRS TC is also tasked with the construction of Common Infrastructure and the Pan Island Link 2A (PIL2A), and the implementation of the Smart City. SRS TC's responsibilities also include landscaping, coastal parks, gardens, beaches, waterways, the mangrove habitat, and bicycle and pedestrian networks.
SRS TC shall also call for tender to award all other construction works in the Scope of Works to the best-evaluated tenderer. It also oversees the implementation of all measures in the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and the supervision of the Contractor to ensure all environmental regulations are complied with according to the EIA COAs and other requirements. The TC will also ensure the agreement with the contractor includes environmental compliance.
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
1. Research and develop BIM initiatives/ capabilities aligned with the prevailing government bodies and market/industry practices. Develop, discover, collect and share processes, best practices, tools and techniques of BIM.
2. Work closely with project teams to provide solutions for BIM related technical issues. Assist project teams and design teams with BIM implementation.
3. Manage the creation and maintenance of master model, run and analyse clash detection on master model, prepare and distribute reports on clashes to facilitate the coordination process.
4. To ensure all BIM processes are constructible in compliance by making sure no clashes or no discrepancies in the work done with design, specifications and drawings.
5. Prepare and distribute reports on clashes to facilitate the coordination process, communicating all conflicts to project teams.
6. Regularly meet with key project staff to update on progress. Document meeting minutes highlighting key action point. Ensure the issues highlighted are resolved, concluded and monitored for resolution provided by the design team.
7. Liaising with Clients and a variety of professionals including Architects, Engineers and Subcontractors.
8. Maintain high level of software competency through continued use, training and assist project team on implementation of BIM software.
9. Leading and maintaining a team of BIM Coordinators and BIM Modelers for the successful delivery of project BIM models.
10. Facilitates coordination by organising and leading technical coordination meetings & Visual Design review (VDR).
11. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
12. To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the company
Qualifications
Degree in relevant discipline (C&S, Architecture, M&E etc.)
Skills & Abilities
Well versed in BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Virtual Design Reviews (VDR) and BIM Modeling works in accordance to PAS1192 & BS1192 workflow as well as the relevant project BIM standards.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
2-3 years of experience in BIM Modelling.
