Job Summary

Responsible to ensure all mechanicals equipment & component in good operating condition to prevent disturbance to plant operation.

Key Responsibilities

• To perform scheduled mechanical maintenance works.
• To ensure good housekeeping at workshop area.
• To perform maintenance work for pumps, valves, penstocks and other mechanical equipments at Bukit Badong Water Treatment Plant, Intake Plant and Bukit Tadun Balancing Reservoir and other area deem fit by employer.
• To perform maintenance work for diesel and mechanical generator engine and its auxillary equipment.
• To perform routine maintenance work at chlorine plant to prevent chlorine leakage.
• To perform repair and replacement work for faulty mechanical equipment and component.
• To report all unsafe act, condition & hazard to immediate superior.
• To report all incident including near-misses to immediate superior immediately.
• To utilize all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Qualifications

• Minimum Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) – Level 2.

Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge and experience in mechanical
• Minimum 2 years experience in related working experience preferably in water treatment works.
• Able to communicate with different level of staffs.
